FAQ

JC June Holiday Programme FAQ

Common questions about crash courses, topical revision, test papers and lesson recordings.

What is the difference between Crash Course and Topical Revision classes?
Crash Course is designed to build foundational understanding of a topic. It is suitable for students who require reinforcement of basic concepts. Topical Revision is more examination-oriented and is intended for students who already have a solid understanding of the topic and wish to practise exam-standard questions.
For JC2 students, should they register only for JC2 classes, or can they also attend JC1 classes?
JC2 students are free to register for any classes. If a JC2 student needs to revise a JC1 topic, they may register for the relevant JC1 class.
Is there a difference in depth between JC1 and JC2 revision classes for the same topic?
Yes. While the topic coverage may be similar, the level of difficulty differs. JC1 revision classes focus on exam-style questions appropriate for JC1 students. JC2 revision classes are more advanced and may include questions that integrate multiple topics.
Is there a bundle discount available?
Yes. A bundle discount may be available for students who register for all the classes for their level. The final discount depends on the total number of classes enrolled and will be confirmed with management and finance.
Will recordings be provided for June holiday lessons?
Yes, all June holiday lessons will be recorded and uploaded to the portal. Students will have access to the latest live lesson recordings from this year’s June Holiday Programme.
What is the “All Pure Maths Test Paper”? Does it cover all topics?
No. The syllabus is divided into Pure Mathematics and Statistics. Pure Mathematics covers around 70% of the syllabus, so the test paper mainly assesses Pure Mathematics topics for focused revision.
Will teachers be marking the test papers?
No. The test is intended for self-assessment. Students will be provided with video solutions and answer schemes for review.
If I sign up for only one topic, which test papers will I receive?
Students who register for at least one paid class will be given access to all test papers, Test A, B, and C, should they wish to attempt them.
