The March School Holidays 2026 are shaping up to be one of the most exciting breaks in recent years! This year’s holidays run from 14 to 22 March 2026, and with Hari Raya Puasa falling on Saturday, 21 March, students get an extra day off on Monday, 23 March — giving everyone a 10-day break!
So, what can students (and parents) look forward to during this extended mid-term breather?.
Events and Attractions Around Singapore
Singapore always comes alive during the March holidays! You can look forward to:

This well-known arts festival held at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay features theatre, music, multimedia installations and interactive workshops specially geared towards children and young adults. The past edition ran from 7–29 March (2025) with lots of free and ticketed programs
And for fans of anime, gaming, or pop culture, keep your eyes peeled — the Singapore Comic and Games Convention (SGCC) and Anime Festival Asia (AFA) sometimes hold special spring events around this time!
Chill Spots for Students
The holidays are also the best time to hang out with friends or just relax with a good drink. Explore café gems around Novena, Tanjong Pagar, or Upper Thomson, or unwind at Library@Orchard if you need a quiet corner to read or revise.
- When & Where: 3–8 February 2026, at Changi Exhibition Centre, Singapore.
- What to expect: One of Asia’s top airshows, including static aircraft displays, flying demonstrations, and aviation-technology exhibits.
Why it’s interesting for students: For those fascinated by aviation, engineering, or large-scale events, this is a spectacular outing with visual impact and educational value.
Bay Floral Fantasy Spring Showcase
Gardens also offers a Bay Floral Fantasy Spring Showcase (varies), a must-visit for Instagram-worthy photos
A Little Reminder from MuscleMath
As much as holidays are for fun, they’re also a great chance to prepare for the year ahead. Closer to March 2026, we may hold our Holiday Revision Workshops — short, focused sessions that help students consolidate tricky Math topics before Term 2 begins.
So, while you enjoy your holidays, keep an eye out for our announcements!
