O Level Results for Exam taken in 2024
The 2024 GCE O-Levels results will be released tentatively between Friday, 10 January and Tuesday, 14 January 2025.
About O Level Results Collection
The date of the Year-End results release exercise for your examinations will be announced by your schools closer to the date of the exercise each year. Prior to the announcement, you can refer to the tentative dates of the exercise on SEAB’s website.
You are to return to your school on the day of the release of the results to collect your results.
If you are unavailable on the day of the results release, please appoint a proxy and inform your school in advance of the arrangement.
Marking and Awarded Grades
Grading for the national examinations is not based on pre-determined cut-off marks or a pre-determined percentage of candidates for certain grades.
Instead, grading takes into consideration various factors such as the paper difficulty and the quality of the candidates’ work, so as to maintain standards.
Appeal for Results
You may appeal for a review of your results during the specified appeal period through SEAB’s Candidates Portal.
You will be notified of the appeal fee for each subject during each year’s results release exercise. All appeal fees are inclusive of GST. The appeal is for the review of the marking of the scripts and a full clerical re-check.
Your appeal application would be submitted to SEAB for processing once you have made the payment successfully.

Note: Applications submitted after the appeal deadline will not be accepted.
You will receive the appeal outcome letter via email by the specified deadline. No report on your performance in the examination will be provided.
