Can Someone Else Collect My O-level cert?

In the event that the student is unwell, or are unable to collect their results, they can also appoint a proxy to collect a physical copy of their results on their behalf from the school. Proxies are required to produce the relevant documents for the school’s verification when collecting the results.

*Relevant Documents may be the IC, passport or any form of Identity Verification.

O level Result Grades and Numerical Meaning

The O-Level grading system is based on a numerical scale from 1 to 9, with 1 being the lowest grade and 9 being the highest. The grades are determined based on the student’s performance on the final examination. Each subject is graded separately, and students receive a grade for each subject that they take.

In total the “L1R5” is the score which will constitute your total amount to be considered by the school for admission. An L1R5 of 20 and below is generally considered to be a good result for a wide selection of choices.

Applicants who are active in their secondary school’s Co-curricular Activities (CCA) may gain up to 2 CCA bonus points that are used to compute the net ELR2B2 aggregate scores.

Type of Bonus Point  No. Of Points
A1/A2  2 Points
B3 to C6  1 Point

What are the Past O Level Grades like?

From the 2022 examination, The Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) revealed that a total of 23,555 candidates sat the O levels for 2021.

Nearly all of them, or 99.8 per cent, passed at least one subject, and 96.4 per cent passed at least three.
