I was struggling with math and decided to join muscle math after attending a crash course. Ms Fou’s teaching method as well as her patience made me understood concepts that seemed difficult. Slowly with her guidance , I was able to learn new concepts easily and scored better in my school exams. She would also reply to my questions as soon as she saw it and I am grateful to have a math tutor like her :)

Musclemath has been a chief asset for me throughout JC. The worksheets, online resources and compiled booklets were instrumental in exposing me to diverse question types and methods. Every lesson is effectively planned and executed, with the tutors laying out the agenda beforehand, focusing on the key question types and allowing different students to move at their chosen pace. The materials are compiled in a very concise and digestible manner that makes them handy for both learning and revision. Mr Tan and Ms Fou are excellent teachers. They write out their workings step-by-step neatly, explain the thought process and include diagrams and proofs, thereby consistently promoting conceptual understanding rather than rote learning. They are also very sensitive to the students’ learning pace. They make it a point to check up on us during breaks or after class if we looked confused during the lesson. When answering questions, they really try to pinpoint the source of confusion and find new ways to explain the concept. They also respond to queries online very quickly, writing out and taking pictures of their method and recording their explanations. The admin staff are very supportive as well, in that they cater to students’ busy schedules by making it easy for us to opt for online lessons over face-to-face ones. They are also prompt in sending answer keys, rearranging classes and answering questions. The Musclemath team has worked closely with me to make sure I get the most out of their lessons, and have been instrumental in my learning.

Ms Fou is a patient teacher that takes times out of her own free time to answer any questions that students may have. She also tries to use examples and analogies to try and help students understand concepts

Enrolled my daughter in Muscle Math after J1 MYE. Glad that Mr Tan was friendly and could explain her weakest topic- Functions in the most comprehensive way for her. Ms Fou's lessons were great as well. Highly recommended!

A big shoutout to Mr Tan and Ms Fou for their dedication in teaching my daughter, THANK YOU! She managed to obtain an A for her H2 Math. Thank you for being available and approachable whenever she needed to clarify things that she didn't understand in her school. Thank you for helping her improve her confidence before the exams. Esp Ms Fou, thank you for showing my daughter that girls can also excel in Math. She really enjoyed your style of teaching. Also, many thanks to Ms Wong for handling the admin issues impeccably. She makes it really simple for the parents to be updated with the term, holiday or extra schedules.
